clear expectations.

This page is maintained by DOB Electrical Ltd to set out the terms that apply to using our website and arranging our electrical services.

About these terms

These Terms of Use apply to anyone accessing the DOB Electrical website or using our services. By using the site or requesting work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

Who we are

The website is operated by DOB Electrical Ltd, a UK-based electrical contractor. You can contact us on 07414 881 081 or at Hello@DOBElectrical.com.

Quote requests and appointments

Quotes provided via the website, email, phone, or in person are estimates based on the information available at the time. The final price may change if the scope of work changes, access conditions differ, or additional materials or labour are required. We will always discuss any change with you before proceeding.

Appointments are agreed in advance. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments where no reasonable notice is given.

Work and certification

All electrical work is carried out in accordance with the current UK wiring regulations and industry standards where applicable. We provide appropriate certification for qualifying work, such as Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and Minor Works Certificates.

Any information about accreditations, insurance, or qualifications on this site is provided to help you understand our business. It is not a guarantee or certification for any specific job unless confirmed in writing as part of your contract with us.

Payments

Payment terms will be confirmed in your quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the work. We reserve the right to request a deposit for larger jobs or materials. Late payments may incur interest or recovery costs in line with applicable UK law.

Warranties and liability

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and will address any defects caused by our installation within a reasonable period, subject to the terms provided in your invoice or contract. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, third-party work, or normal wear and tear.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the website or our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work in question. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
